Introduction

The Video Game Mortal Kombat, a fighting game which was released in the year 1992, got banned in multiple countries later in the year due to the violence of the game. There were tons of controversies towards the gameplay and the bloody scenes that could cause teenagers to behave differently. There was a hostility test based on 30 males playing two different versions of this game, and the result shows that the hostility measures did increase. This result allowed the researchers to conclude that Mortal Kombat could potentially adopt a combative behavior for the teenagers who are playing the game. As these controversies get more and more evidence from these tests, some countries decide to ban the game instead.
