Slow looking Analysis (Object 2 )

Describe what you see:  what it is; what its shape is; how and from what it was made; what decoration, damage, or other striking details it possesses.  

Then describe the social and historical context of your object (the object’s time, place, and purpose).  In this section, you may include:  what the object is for; when and where it was made; when and where was it used, and by whom.  Discuss its purpose, its place and historical period, and its cultural significance.  Explain how it contributes to your understanding of the monster.  (Not all of these questions will apply to all objects! Focus on areas that help shed light on your monster.)

 In this section, you must also illustrate your primary artifact with at least two other objects of interest.

Artifact 2- shows an ancient manuscript (Beowulf from the Anglo-Saxon period) page with the drawing of a man possibly tied to some branches and a creature matching the dragon’s description trying to eat him. I inferred this as the dragon is at the foot of the man so possibly is trying to eat him. Also, in this picture the dragon is also shown to have wings and that explains its ability to “fly in the air”
