DUCK HUNT
Duck Hunt is a video game created by Nintendo for the Japanese video game console called Famicom and was released in 1984. In 1985, famicom was set to debut in North America as Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The Duck Hunt game was released alongside the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was released in Europe in 1987, three years after the initial release in Japan, and two years after its North American debut. The game is played using a gun-shaped controller called a Zapper.
Gameplay
Duck Hunt is a first-person shooting game where the player points and fires the zapper on the screen. The goal of the game is to shoot the moving targets successfully. The came consists of 99 rounds, with ten targets to shoot in each round. As the game progresses, the targets move faster and faster, and the minimum number of misses decreases. In the first few rounds, the player is required to shoot at least six targets to continue.
The game has three different modes:
- Game A: In game A, the ducks will appear one at a time, and players have three attempts to shoot them within a certain timeframe.
- Game B: In game B, two ducks will appear simultaneously, and players will only have three attempts to shoot both within a certain timeframe.
- Game C: In Game C, instead of ducks, players will shoot white circular clays.
The game is over if the player fails to shoot the required number of targets in one round.
The dog is a part of the story but has no bearing on the success or failure of the player. The game starts with the dog sniffing for the ducks. As the dog finds the location of the ducks, the dog jumps towards them, causing the ducks to fly. If the player successfully shoots the duck in game A, the dog will show up from behind the glass holding the dead duck up. The same happens in game B, but instead of one, the dog holds up two ducks. If the player fails to shoot the target after three tries, the dog will show up laughing.
