Conclusion
The Story of Ferdinand encaplislates the difference in political views of the 1930s. Ferdinand is a symbol of freedom, for he does what makes him happy, regarless of what society projects. We see the banning of this book in places where freedom wasn't apperent and violence was promoted. Countries like America were fighting for this freedom to be able live like Ferdinand, and not have it tarnished by Nazi Germany. Germany did what ever they could to surpress this ideology with their technology, but in the end, Ferdinands way of life prevailed.
