Reflection

Reflecting on the exhibit building experience involves navigating past injustices while striking a balance between rigorous academia and cultural sensitivity. Academic publications by Cesaroni, Grol, and Fredericks (2019) and Cunneen, Tauri (2019) enhanced the story. Non-scholarly perspectives from Lavalley et al. (2018) and Samuels-Wortley (2021) were incorporated to highlight a range of experiences and add layers of authenticity. Ethical considerations demand fair representation of Indigenous opinions and experiences.
