Book
The title of this samizdat is ОПТИМА: литературный рукописный журнал. In English, OPTIMA: literary manuscript journal. It was produced by a group of students using a typewriter. This group of students are from the evening courses of the philological department at Leningrad State University, in Saint Peterburg, Russia. They translated the Polish works and articles about literature and music into Russian, put the works together and made it a journal.
We could see that the red word (vertical) is the title, Optima. At the top of the triangle indicates the number of issues and the year and month it was produced. The words on the mid-bottom mean literary manuscript journal.
Form the images above. We could see that the first issue was produced in 1960. We could notice that there are no clues for finding the actual authors on the covers. Since this samizdat is banned at the time they were published, authors would be anonymous. The words at the bottom are literary manuscript journals in English.
