My project will be focusing on a particular journey from The Travels of Ibn Battuta (Chapter 6: Arabian Sea). My character of focus will be on Ibn Battuta himself, who will be journeying to the Arabian Sea with multiple stops along the way in places like Yemen and Somalia. The project will be focusing on those places that he stopped by on his way. Using various points of interest along with proper artifacts will help to illustrate how space and place revolve around the main character.
