Context

Explain the social and historical context of your book and its banning/endangerment. Who banned or challenged it, and why? How was/is the censorship enforced? If it wasn’t banned or censored, in what sense is it endangered?

If you need to break this into multiple sections, do so! For example, a project on Origin of Species might need one section to discuss the historical context and response to the book, and another on a specific example of the book being banned or challenged in the 21st century.
