Conclusion

In conclusion, the existence of the speaking tree and the artifacts illustrates how monsters and fantastic creatures and occurrences are portrayed in stories from the Arabian peninsula.  The fantastic is not something separate from our own world, but another part of it; a part that can heal or hurt, and can be navigated, just like any other.  Furthermore, monsters in these stories are not beyond human comprehension or understanding, but are more similar to our own selves.
