This exhibit analyzes how institutions use children’s media to promote their own political agenda as it pertains to the picture book Heather Has Two Mommies by Lesléa Newman. This exhibit also observes cases where children’s books depicting homosexual relationships were made available or restricted between the years 1987 and 1994 in America.
