Reflection

Making this display made me realise how important mind maps and outlines are. My vision is readily distracted because of the abundance and complexity of the content and sources involved. As a result, before writing the text for the display, I structure the information and my logic. When I first began writing, I did a direct assessment of the material as well, but I realised that the writing frequently lacked adequate proof or reasoning. I can identify these kinds of problems early on and acquire the information I need before diving into the writing process when I create an outline. It gives my paper's structure a clear representation. Therefore, it is especially useful for lengthy texts or intricate arguments. Furthermore, it's critical to develop the practise of saving constantly. The prevention of data loss is the most evident effect. I unintentionally misplaced my source when I was searching for a scholarly article. It ultimately tooks me an extremely long time to retrieve it. Therefore, it served as a reminder to me that mishaps might often occur. For instance, erasing material unintentionally, accidentally shutting the document, or hitting the incorrect button. Saving project and copying source links frequently can serve as a safeguard against unrepairable mistakes.

Since my work incorporates both the two cultural groups' norms and beliefs and provides a true justification for Canada's proposal for reconciliation. The ethical issue I encountered when making the exhibition was about the emic perspective of the cultural native. The material we learned in class suggest that: You need to listen as much as possible… [In addition,] you need to respect local culture, gain permission from gatekeepers and others, and understand the history and local conditions.” (Qualitative Methods in Monitoring and Evaluation) My high school studies in Vancouver have always involved the teaching of original history and culture. Therefore, I have a certain understanding of this, and I have always maintained a high degree of interest and respect for diverse cultures. As a result, extreme caution must be used to guard against any false information and outside bias. Additionally, I should be mindful of the distinction between the perspective of the author and the presenting of objective facts when sourcing information and producing original works. Moreover, I need to prevent creating confusion by not incorporating personal arguments into factual proof. As a result, I will frequently put myself in the perpective of indigenous people and Canadians, and I will attempt to make my identity as transparent as possible in order to immerse myself in the authenticity of the culture depicted. The legitimacy and neutrality of the entire argument are restored thanks to this transparency, which also helps prevent meaning distortion and the intrusion of my personal opinions.
