"The Scarlet Plague" explores characteristics of human behavior in times of plague that has lately become all too familiar — from the immense advantage of isolation to the mass hysteria in supermarkets (COVID-19). The exhibit will include allusions and drawings from the novel, making it more accessible to visitors. This novel focuses on a fictional illness referred to as the Red Death that takes place in 2073 San Francisco.
The exhibit will consist of a collection containing all metadata relevant to Jack London and the novel itself.
