Answers to false arguments against the Earth's motion.

It is the 12th book by Galileo Galilei, comparing the Copernican System which says that the Earth moves around the Sun with the Ptolemaic System that believes the other way around that the Sun moves around the Earth. The book is presented as a series of discussions, over a span of four days, among two philosophers and a layman. The discussion ranges over much of contemporary science such as William Gilbert’s work on magnetism and some science important to the debate answering erroneous arguments against the Earth’s motion to show what Galileo considered good science so it is not narrowly limited to astronomical topics.
